A DAY AT THE BOAT SHOW

Lissa and I took the train to the west coast of Scotland for the boat show in Inverkip. I like boats for some reason I don't know, and dream of doing some sailing in my life. I don't have too much experience boating, but I've wanted to have a sailboat for a long time now. I'm happy that Lissa enjoys sailing as well. We had our first chance to experience what it's actually like to sail on a 30 foot yacht last summer and neither of us got sick, so we are deemed fit for sailing. So at this point, it wasn't the 440000 GBP, 50 foot yachts that caught my interest. These were very large motor vessels and even if we were filthy rich, I don't think I could enjoy paying for the fuel. It could easily be $1000 in a weekend of wasted fumes. It was the smaller sailboats that I was interested in as I think they are much more practical.

Taking a short break at the Tea Shop while it rained outside.

Inside our future boat. I know, wishful thinking.
