MORE SUNSET PICTURES:
There are pros and cons to the weather in Alberta, the sunsets is one of them. The cons is that the weather is so dry that my eye lids have to peel off my eye balls whenever I blink. (totally exaggerating, but I did need a lot of Visine when I first came to Alberta).

SMITH
We wanted to dedicate a blog about the Kasper's dog 'Smith'. He's a big old chocolate lab with plenty of personality. It's rare we see a lab as big as this one. Lissa and I, being dog lovers, had lot's of laughs and were very much entertained by his loyal, but needy and playful personality. When Barb, or Dakota (his two favorite humans) would get home, he basically stalks them until they play with him or give him enough human affection.

Couldn't just sit in his own seat, had to be as
close to Lissa as possible!

The first year I was up with the family I went to bed to find smith sleeping with his head basically on my pillow. I tried gently moving him aside, but he freaked out on me and I thought he turned 'I am Legend' on me. Snarling and growling wasn't the Smith I knew. Montana (Lissa's Bro) scolded him and made him get off my bed. The next morning a few of us were in the living room when Smith came upstairs. The first person he walks up to was me, and he had a perfect puppy dog face on and we all knew he was trying to say ' I am sorry'. I had to tell him I forgave him. Of course the next night he was in my spot again. He knows what he does!
Anyways, enough of a dog. He's still just a dog, but a lovely dog he is. Oh and they got him for free!
