Food Summery:
The food on our Trip has been a highlight. Last week on a few nights, the Kasper family's friends Heather and Fred had the family over for dinner. The first night was Salmon, and another evening she made us all Steak and pasta salad. I was the only one that requested medium rare, everyone else, except for Heather wanted it done with no pink. Didn't realize Alberta residence were paranoid of Alberta AAA Grade beef.

Another night, Montana and his girlfriend Amanda took us out for chicken wings at a local Crabby Joe's-like restaurant. It was great getting to know Amanda and spending more time with Montana and the interesting part was Montana explaining how Bombs are more deadly from the shock-wave then the actual blast...
Beer Pancakes
One of the mornings Nick made us his very own Beer Pancakes. We had it with Homemade Red Current Syrup. Instead of milk or water, he added a can of beer, with Oatmeal, nuts and other seeds. It was very good. In fact, I want to make it for the Lichti family someday:)

Last night was the most crowned culinary experience of them all. Nick, Dakota and I went golfing for 18 long holes. The course was 45 minutes away and we came home late and hungry. We walked in fashionably late to 2 large pots of chicken wings and 2 lasagnas. Barb and Lissa probably worked all day to make this meal. It was delicious and I probably didn't say many words while eating. I rarely do. There was so much, that I don't think we ate more then half of the food, so the boys got lot's of leftovers to take with them, Dakota felt bad taking some of the leftovers with them, Montana said &%$ yah!
The rest of course stayed with us at Lissa's parents.
